A new artist
every six weeks
Every six weeks we hand the room to a new artist. The exhibition is free to see, and the work is for sale on request. When one show comes down, the next is already on the wall.
A place to meet, to share, and to discover artists before the rest of the world does. Free to visit, and the door is always open.
Berlin House of Art began with a simple wish: to make a place where art and people meet.
In our gallery we show the drawings of Peter Fritz alongside a regularly changing programme of exhibitions by artists still to be discovered. We are glad to give our walls and rooms to artists for shows of their own.
Would you like to finally show your work to friends in an exhibition, or read your poems to a small circle? Then you are in the right place.
Concerts and musical experiments happen here from time to time, spontaneously, along with philosophical conversations and readings. Everything is still taking shape and will keep growing. For that, we need you.

What happens in the room over a year.
Every six weeks we hand the room to a new artist. The exhibition is free to see, and the work is for sale on request. When one show comes down, the next is already on the wall.
Between the temporary shows, the room returns to the house's own collection: the paintings and drawings of Peter Fritz.
