Privacy
Privacy policy (Datenschutzerklärung) pursuant to the DSGVO and the TDDDG. This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, and embeds no external content that transfers data to third parties on page load.
Controller (Verantwortlicher)
The controller for data processing on this website is the operator named in the Imprint:
Thomas Moritz Kunstdrucke
Thomas Moritz (Einzelunternehmer / sole proprietor), Bergmannstraße 54, 10961 Berlin, Germany.
Contact: info@berlin-house-of-art.de
The competent supervisory authority is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (BlnBDI). No Datenschutzbeauftragter (data protection officer) is required, as fewer than 20 persons are permanently engaged in processing personal data (§38 BDSG).
Data processed when you visit (server logs)
This site is hosted with Cloudflare; the processor is Cloudflare Germany GmbH / Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), processing on our behalf under Art. 28 DSGVO. When you load a page, connection data (such as your IP address, the requested file, the time of the request, and your browser type) is processed at the host's edge to deliver the site securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, performant website (Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO); this storage is technically necessary (§25 (2) Nr. 2 TDDDG). We do not use this data to build profiles. Where data is transferred to the USA, the transfer relies on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Cloudflare, Inc. is certified) and, additionally, on Standard Contractual Clauses.
Contact form
If you contact us through the form, we process the data you enter — kept to a minimum: your name, your e-mail address, and your message — solely to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) DSGVO (pre-contractual steps, e.g. an artwork enquiry) and/or Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO (general enquiries). Transmission is encrypted over HTTPS. Your message is delivered, via a server function at our host Cloudflare, straight to the gallery's e-mail mailbox; that mailbox is operated by IONOS SE (Germany). No additional form service is involved, and your message is not stored persistently on the server. We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with; if a transaction follows, the statutory retention periods apply (§257 HGB, §147 AO).
Map and directions
This website embeds an interactive map from Google Maps (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; where applicable Google LLC, USA). As soon as the map scrolls into view it is loaded; your IP address is then transmitted to Google and cookies may be set so the map can be displayed in your browser. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an easily found location and directions display (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where data is transferred to the USA, the transfer relies on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You may object to this processing at any time with effect for the future; the contact details are given above under “Controller”. Details of Google's processing are in its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. The “Route planen / Plan route” button additionally opens Google Maps in a new tab.
Fonts
Web fonts on this site are served from our own host (self-hosted, without Google Fonts). No data is sent to Google Fonts or any other third party to display type.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we hold about you (Auskunft), and to have it corrected (Berichtigung) or deleted (Löschung). You also have the rights to restriction of processing, to object, and to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (the BlnBDI named above). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the Imprint.
